Eqoulis was the largest planet in the Mehdias System and the second-largest planet in the entire universe. The date of its exact formation is unknown, but Itarian scribes place it somewhere between 420,000-110,000 BTLS (Before The Long Sleep).

Eqoulis was a planet with one desert that consumed the entire world. Unlike Pugart, another desert planet, Eqoulis was uninhabitable and viciously unsafe. Days on Eqoulis lasted for 129 hours, but Itarian scribes described one single day as feeling like a lifetime.

Water was limited on this death world, with caverns and trenches only being filled with water on days there was rain. When the Itarians discovered Eqoulis in the 7th cycle, many soldiers died during the "conquest". Eventually, Eqoulis was classified as a dead world, and warnings by the Itarian Empire were sent out to all the planets in that universe that Eqoulis was not a planet to be traveled to, and if anyone decided to do so, it would be at their risk.
