The 41st emperor of the Vorzinian Dynasty, often referred to as The Blood of Vorza, 17-year-old
Lorvenzon ascended to the Itarian throne in 448,368 following the death of his father. Because
he was so young, many wanted his aunt, Reinaz, to rule. But Lorvenzon’s mother pushed for her
son to become emperor, making him the youngest ruler in Itarian history.
Wary of power grabs from his political enemies, mostly his aunt and her sons, Lorvenzon fostered alliances with military leaders and influential Scribes of Noplia. He fought corruption amongst the lowest and highest levels of state and made allies among the common people as well.
Lorvenzon devoted a remarkable amount of time to the study of philosophy and science, was
tolerant of other religions across the empire, and bolstered efforts to raise the literacy rates within
his planetary kingdom. During his reign, monasteries were erected across the conquered worlds
for the Scribes of Noplia to teach citizens, marking an era of great technological and educational
advancements.
Apart from being a scholar emperor, Lorvenzon was also a capable warrior and diplomat. At the
age of 29, he rushed to Rashalon on dragon back to save the planets capital from being invaded by reptilian pirates from the planet Di. In 448,413 DTLS C5, he brokered a peace deal between the Five Kingdoms of Yres, saving both planets from all out war.
By 448,545, the Itarian empire was reaping an era of peace under Lorvenzon’s reign. He died in 448,574 at the age of 240, leaving the empire stronger than ever.
