Search continues for one of the largest trading star ships in the Mehdias JX7 system. It has been nearly a full orbital cycle in the home system and Treph'os V has yet to be found. Aligned forces of the Mehdias JX7 planets and the Black Palace coordinated an extensive search across the stars. All seemed lost until a revolutionary clue was discovered on Myero.
Treph'os V was revealed to have a pro-data box on board the ship. The pro-data box was discovered in a scrap heap on Myero. It's still unknown how the pro-data box ended up there. This also raises further questions, as Myero was not on the trading ship's last route before it vanished.
Myero's top technological minds worked endlessly to uncover what was stored on the recovered device. It took more effort and time than expected as a top-level security system was implemented inside the pro-data box. More questions arise as this level of security was very rarely used on trading ships.
Eventually, the device was accessed and star-logs have been recovered. The first star-log revealed a crew member by the name of Pinxo and his duties on the ship. More details about the first star-log can be accessed here.
A second star-log was accessed. It was harder to retain the full information from this one as it was damaged. The message was incomplete and scattered. However, there were a few bits of information to remark on. The second star-log can be accessed here.
This star-log seemed to be logging a standard maintenance procedure on the ship. Maintenance operations are usually recorded on major trading vessels to confirm safety standards and review potential mistakes. With the star-log being defective, the initial owner of this log could not be identified due to poor video quality. Based on the audio recording, a person was called out by the name of Seva. After a review of the crew list, a person was confirmed with this name, Seva Tii. Looking into Seva's background it appears this person is a safety engineer for the Treph'os V. Seva has been working on the ship for over 15 orbital cycles. It's a bit concerning after all this time a veteran engineer didn't wear a helmet during a routine procedure.
After the review of two recovered star-logs it seems much more is to be discovered. More information is needed to help uncover the mystery of the missing Treph'os V. Something of note was that both star-logs mentioned the importance of the cargo. The first star-log even mentioned an increased presence of armed security. It is not unusual to encounter high-priority cargo and increased security measures on a major trading ship. Yet, it is important to note the distinct security system integrated into the pro-data box, as these aspects could be interconnected.
Myero's efforts continue to reveal more about the disappearance of Treph'os V. A third star-log has now been retrieved! Thankfully this data was not damaged at all. Could this be another step closer to discovering Treph'os V's fate?
STAR-LOG 2: SHIPMENT DAY UNKNOWN
Star-log video description: A figure is standing alone in the satr-log recording area. Their face has been digitally censored. The figure's clothing is inconspicuous as it matches the uniform of the deckhand. Audio is also distorted to a heavy degree, most likely to disguise the figure's voice.
